About Us
Windhoek IVF Clinic started as an idea by Prof Igno Siebert and Dr Riaan van der Colf a few years ago, after recognizing the fact that a service like that does not exist in Namibia. Prof Siebert is part of the well-known AE VITAS clinic in Cape Town. Originally, he started off by visiting Windhoek 4 times a year, consulting and performing advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr Melanie Smith was involved later.

Fertility Specialist
Professor Siebert is a fertility specialist in private practice at Drs Aevitas Fertility at Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Cape Town. He is also an associated professor at the University of Stellenbosch and has completed his PhD. He is well known for his excellent surgical capability and expertise in the field of IVF. Professor Siebert has published extensively both nationally and internationally. Professor Siebert was integral in starting Windhoek IVF and is eager to assist all patients wanting to start a family.
Dr Riaan van der Colf
Specialist Gynecologist
Dr Riaan van der Colf received his postgraduate qualification from University of Stellenbosch in 1989 and has been in private practice in Windhoek since 1990. His special interests are in Reproductive Medicine, endocrinology and endoscopic surgery.

Crook Embryologist
Greg is based at Drs Aevitas Fertility at Vincent Pallotti in Cape Town where he has been the laboratory director for the past 11 years. Greg is a highly skilled embryologist having refined his skills in all aspects of IVF. He is friendly, meticulous and willing to assist.
Greg brings all of his experience to Windhoek IVF bringing the laboratory to world-class standard.
